The wet-season afternoon has its own plan.
November to April, the clouds stack up on the Sleeping Giant and let go about three o’clock. It matters less than you would think: the mud pools are already muddy, the caves are dry inside, and the jet boat runs in anything short of a cyclone. Go early, then go under cover.
